Chicago Underground was an off-shoot of Chicago Bad Boys. The Chicago Bad Boys were a fluid association, they included, from time to time, Roy Davis Jr, Steve Poindexter, Armando, Terry Hunter, Gene Hunt, Jamal Moss, Ellery Cole, Brian Harris, and others. So much wrong information is out there is the world that we are taking the opportunity to set the record straight, and give credit where credit is due.
Volume 2 features the lost classic “Razzmatazz”, known for it's sample from the '81 hit single of the same name by the master, Quincy Jones. The horns sampled in this house banger were done by MFSB (Vincent Montana Jr.& Bobbi Eli of the track “Sexy” from the same LP as the Saturday Night Fever featured track “K-Jee”). This is a marvelous collaboration of 2 samples, plus a voice sample as played at legendary spots in Chicago like the Muzik Box, The Reactor, Medusa's, and many, many, many more!
Razmatazz is from Drew Sky – Razzmatazz (CU6900). All other tracks are unreleased tracks from the vaults.
