CAN'T STOP THE BUM RUSH 12"

A true emcee in every sense of the word, this master of ceremonies has the ability to switch from braggadocio battle emcee to soulful and introspective artist with an innate flow that only comes from a gifted and natural performer. One particularly warm Florida evening, amidst a sea of hands in the air, one member of the crowd was both moved and impressed. The cat in the crowd was Jay Skills, one-half of Sound Providers, and he immediately recognized the potential of the talented emcee.

Born in Sacramento California, Surreal grew up surrounded by music. Jazz, soul, rock and reggae all influenced him as a young man. It wasn't until he moved to Tampa, Florida in 1984 that he found his love for hip hop. From the party rocking "Can't Stop The Bumrush", to the instropective "Moment in Time" these are some future classic type joints with production by MoO, Elected Official, and the Sound Providers.
